Gala concert of artists linked with Košice

Within the candidacy of Košice for the title of the European Capital of Culture 2013, a gala concert directed by Ján Ďurovčík took place in October 2007. The Inžinierske stavby, a.s. company was the main partner of the event during which renowned artists coming from Košice and surrounding regions, and artists whose work links them with the city, performed. Besides the Košice National Philharmonic Orchestra and its soloists, also soloists and vocalists of the National Theatre in Košice, Peter Breiner, Marián Čekovský and artists addressing young people as, for instance, No Name, Noc a Deň, and Tina performed too.
