Folk festival in Košice - Cassovia Folkfest 2007

The Cassovia Folkfest is the biggest folk event in Slovakia. In 2007 it featured genre performances of local and guest ensembles, which took place in the Košice Amphitheatre, in the city streets, and in various towns and villages of the Košice region. A great number of inhabitants of the Košice region had an opportunity to see unique performances and actively participate in some festival events. Apart from renowned Slovak folklore ensembles also guests from Hungary, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Byelorussia, France, and Israel presented their performances.
