Environment protection

The Inžinierske stavby, a. s. company’s approach towards environment protection is comprehensive and is characterized by a high level of responsibility while focusing on four basic areas:

Our main principle is to act, when performing construction work, in a manner allowing a minimization of impact of the construction on the environment; we revitalize the surroundings of a construction project immediately after its completion. During construction we consistently observe special measures targeted at environmental protection. Creation of bio corridors during construction of a part of the D47 motorway, the 4705 Bělotín-Hladké Životice construction in the Czech Republic or construction of an underpass at Lučivná, which allows the preservation of an eco-corridor and respects the migration route of wild animals, may serve as examples.

In a consistent manner we consistently modernize and renew our own production  facilities in order to minimize the amount of emissions released into the air. In 2006 we completed reconstruction of the plant in Čoltovo producing asphalt mixtures called AMANN. Gradually we have built gas connections to and equipped with the most modern technology all our plants of this type; we regularly replace and modernize the machinery and truck fleet of our company.


We build constructions that become an important part of the system of ecological protection of the environment. First of all it concerns waste water treatment plants, modern dumps for storage and disposal of solid municipal waste, and sewerage systems.





As a member of the COLAS group we put on the market progressive technologies and materials that make use of renewable resources and are environmentally friendly. Development of a new material - VEGECOL, which is the first plant-based binder, may serve as an example. It is a solution that may replace bitumen (asphalt) and its use allows an extreme reduction in the greenhouse gas emission within the entire industrial chain – from its production to application.
