Buildings under construction

The D1 motorway route leads through the northern part of Slovakia as a motorway bypass around Mengusovce, Batizovce, and Svit. The section begins behind the grade-separated intersection of Mengusovce where the motorway connects to the D1 motorway section of Važec – Mengusovce. The construction comprises also the Bôrik tunnel with double tunnel tubes, bridges and other structures related to induced investments:  relocation of underground services, redirection of watercourses, relocation of railways, construction of underground walls, supporting and retaining walls.

The Važec – Mengusovce section is an extension of the Hybe – Važec section of the D1 motorway and connects the next section of Mengusovce – Jánovce. It is a part of the northern branch of the D1 motorway. The section leads around the villages of Važec, Štrba, and Mengusovce. Due to the terrain configuration and artificial obstacles that the motorway crosses, an adequate number of bridges will be built as well as a crossing of the motorway and a bio corridor that will be addressed by a tunnel. The project includes construction of the motorway section, relocation of roads I/188 and II/539, adjustment of roads III/018144, I/18 and II/538, construction of local roads, rural roads, bridges, Lučivná underpass, motorway drainage system, water mains, gas lines, rest areas, low-voltage, high voltage and very high voltage lines, public lights, light current lines, adjustment of a railway traction line.

The D1 motorway is a part of the main motorway route in Slovakia. The section begins behind the village of Chminianska Nová Ves where the motorway connects to road I/18 through a grade-separated interchange. The section ends at the Prešov West interchange. All points of crossing of the motorway with natural or artificial obstacles are addressed by grade-separated design. The structure includes bridges, supporting and retaining walls.

The project involves the construction of new and reconstruction of existing sewers, rehabilitation of an existing WWTP in Košice and construction of a new WWTP in the village of Kavečany. House connections and pumping plant are also part of the project.

The project includes construction and reconstruction of public water mains and sewerage systems in the city of Vranov nad Topľou and surrounding villages. Rehabilitation of three WWTPs and construction of a new WWTP, water reservoirs, and water pumping plants, waste water pumping plants, water main and sewerage connections are part of the project too.

The project includes construction of a new sewerage system for the villages in the district of Humenné, connection of the existing sewerage system in the village of Udavské to a new sewerage collector between the Humenné WWTP and the village of Ľubiša, reconstruction of the sewerage system leading along streets in Kudlovská, Jasenovská, Sninská, and Gaštanová in the city of Humenné, and completion of the Humenné WWTP. The project has two parts: intensification of the Humenné WWTP and construction of the sewerage system.

The project concerns a grade-separated interchange of roads I/50 and I/68, connection of related roads in the city of Košice to roads I/50 and I/68, bridges, noise barriers, supporting and retaining walls, road sewerage system, public lights, relocation of underground services, construction of an underpass under the railway, and construction of portal and related structures, relocation of underground services serving the Railways of the Slovak Republic.

The project involves construction of a new four lane concrete motorway, including bridges, in an unbuilt area. This project represents one of the seven sections of the D47 motorway in the Czech Republic that will connect Ostrava and Poland and become a part of the international transit between Austria and Poland. The construction includes relocation of roads, bridges, noise barriers, motorway drainage system, and relocation of related underground services.
